A few weeks ago mexican sustainable fashion brand for women MURILA, presented it’s new collection “SIUAJ” at the Universo MOLA Fashion Week 2024, in Punta del Este, Uruguay.
“SIUAJ” means women in Nahuatl. This collection by MURILA, created by and for women, is inspired by the Teotihuacán ancient culture. We have chosen colors and textures that reflect the rich multiculturalism of this ancient civilization, incorporating elements and details from its history and artistic heritage. This approach offers a unique blend of tradition and modernity, resulting in contemporary garments with a touch of cultural authenticity. – Anaí Montero, fashion designer at Murila
For the creation of this collection, MURILA has collaborated for the first time with the mexican contemporary brand Doble . Infinito by the designer and fashion marketer Rebeca Ramos. Her illustrations reflect motifs from the Teotihuacán culture in some prints of the collection.
The designs of the prints by Doble.Infinito and Murila’s Anaí Montero can be found in accessories (scarfs) and some garments of the collection.

Universo MOLA Fashion Week is the only sustainable fashion week in Latin America, and MURILA was the only mexican brand that participated on the runway. Congratulations to everyone who made this happen!
