“Life in a Seashell” Doble Infinito’s New Collection Coming Soon.
During a trip to Tampico Tamaulipas where I went to see my cousins, one of them took me to the beach. It was 6º and freezing cold. I saw so many Seashells and they captivated me. Thinking of a campaign or new designs wasn’t something I had in mind. But it all came together when I came back to Mexico City, I knew I had to tell a story through new designs…
It all connected! My photos, illustrations, sketching at midnight, music, pattern making, writing poetry… That’s how the collection was conceived.
Life in a Seashell… Where the sea comes ands goes, and silence is an infinite breeze. When you live life in a seashell, you are submerged in your own type of cocoon. Just the sea flows, in an ever ending cycle. The sea creatures hide in a seashell, and are surrounded…in infinite peace.
When you live life in a seashell, the tiny creature escapes the seashell, and evolves into something unexpected. Dead matter, and beauty of the sea.
